The NEJM identity and design system are built around the typefaces Scala Sans by Martin Majoor and Quadraat by Fred Smeijers, which combine to create a recognizable, legible, and timeless typographic palette. The UI elements are minimal and unobtrusive, with the exception of bright NEJM orange call-to-actions.
